On Wednesday 1 July, members of the Wednesday Social Group will be having their annual visit to Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park.
Located on the highest point of the Park, with stunning views across the Thames Valley to the west, this magnificent Georgian mansion has been used in a number of ways. A molecatcher, a prime minister, two earls, five countesses, a child who was to become a renowned philosopher, and a group of wartime special agents: all have been residents of Pembroke Lodge at some time in its long history.
Weather permitting we will have tea on the terrace. Everyone is welcome to join us – church members and their friends. Further details will follow.
