Church Meeting – 17 July

A Church Meeting for all members and friends will be held on Wednesday 17 July.  There will be two main items on the agenda:

• UK charity Green Christian is calling on the governing bodies of Churches in the UK and worldwide to ‘tell the truth about climate change’ by declaring a Climate Emergency.  A proposal will be brought to Church Meeting that Trinity should submit a Climate Emergency motion for Southern Synod’s consideration.
• Trinity’s refugee sponsorship working party will report on the feasibility of Trinity sponsoring a refugee family under the Community Sponsorship scheme.

The meeting will begin at 8pm in the Mansel Road Centre.  Please come to hear more about and discuss these important issues.
