Spire works progress
Timber replacement work has been completed at the upper levels; some further defective timber was found at lower levels in the latter part of last week, this has now been renewed.
In addition, the timber furrings were also found to be defective and have been renewed.
Decoration works to the main timber framework have been undertaken and are awaiting a final coat.
On the rear flèche timber replacement work is complete. Decoration works are now taking place.
