There will be something slightly different at the May meeting of the Wednesday Social Group. On 6 May at 2.30pm there will be a showing of an (amateur) film taken at Trinity sixteen years ago.
Do you remember our “Taste of Scotland” evening held in November 1999? If you were there that evening – or even if you weren’t – this is an opportunity to relive that memorable occasion. Maybe see yourself, family or friends, see the Old and New Halls before they were “redeveloped”, musical entertainment provided by various members of the congregation, Scottish dancing at the end of the evening, and so on. And after that there is some footage from the special Advent Sunday service the next day, led by Ceri Lewis, at which millennium mugs were presented to the children, and from the Nativity play that was held a few weeks later – how many of the children from sixteen years ago do we recognise?
The film will be followed by the usual tea.
