Following three successful years’ productions, rehearsals for the next Trinity Musical are once again about to begin. For 2017 we return to the Bible with The Son of Encouragement, written by Revd Roger Jones (who wrote ‘The Baptist’ that we performed in 2015). It tells the story of Barnabas and the early Christian church and it’ll be wonderful to bring a lesser-known part of the Bible to life. This year we will also be inviting the congregations of Tolworth and Ewell URCs to be involved (as Roger is currently based there in his ministry) so it’ll be a great chance to meet new people and work together with other churches.
Whatever your skills and talents, there’s plenty to be involved in. On-stage there are a number of roles both solo and group-based – and don’t worry, only a few of the main roles require solo singing! If you play a musical instrument or sing, why not find out about joining the band or choir? Just as important are roles off-stage and we will need people to help with costumes, props, lighting, sound etc…
