Christmas Tree Festival ‘thank you’

A very big ‘thank you’ to everyone – individuals, organisations, local businesses, schools, charities – who made our third Christmas Tree Festival such a success.

Thank you so much for your sponsorship of the Festival.  We are delighted to announce that a cheque for £3,500 has been sent to Save the Children from the Festival.

The tree decorations were all wonderfully imaginative – the best yet – and such a lot of work had gone into each of the forty-one trees.  An impressive 219 votes were cast in total for the “Favourite Tree”.  The winner was the French tree, sponsored and decorated by Maria Rice-Jones.
