The Children & Youth Work Team are delighted that after a gap of several years, Trinity is once again offering a Holiday Club to its children and their friends.
Running for one day this half term, the day will focus on two key events of the Christian calendar – Ascension and Pentecost.
Through story, discussion, prayer, games, art and crafts and other activities, we aim to develop children’s understanding of these events as well as learning more about Jesus and his disciples, and very importantly deepen their relationship with Him and with each other.
We are particularly excited as leaders to be using a new resource and creative approach which uses LEGO or its equivalent as a way of exploring faith. We are sure the children’s imagination, and the approach which promotes curiosity about the events and wondering about Jesus will lead to an inspiring day for us all.
Do check back in next week or so and see how we got on. We will hope to run more similar days during the summer holidays.
