Merton Citizens Accountability Assembly – 7 May

South London Citizens (of which Merton Citizens is part) are holding an Accountability Assembly at Southwark Cathedral, London Bridge, SE1 9DA, on Tuesday 7 May at 6.30 pm for 7 pm, finishing at 8.30 pm.

Politicians from Lambeth, Southwark, Greenwich, Lewisham and Merton Councils have been invited, including Stephen Alambritis, the Leader of Merton Council. They will be held to account for commitments made on South London Citizens’ campaigning issues, including affordable housing, youth safety and welcoming refugees, and asked to commit themselves to continue working with Citizens groups.  Come along to see change in action!

Citizens are aiming for a large turnout, and a good presence from Trinity will contribute to that.  If you would like to attend, please let Mike Tulloch know as soon as possible, so that the Trinity group can be registered.
