Trinity’s Mission Statement, agreed by Church Meeting on 14 July 2016:cropped-trinity-png.png

Rooted in Christ

growing in faith

sharing and serving in love.

The pages in this section outline the associations and partnerships through which Trinity seeks to serve God and serve our neighbours, both locally and further afield.

Trinity is registered on the national EcoChurch scheme.  We have been awarded the Bronze EcoChurch Award and are now working towards a Silver Award.  Meanwhile we are accredited as a Fairtrade Church, and regularly provide a well-stocked Traidcraft stall after services.

Trinity members support Christian Aid through the year, with a particular focus on the house-to-house collections in Christian Aid Week. In addition, each year at Lent Trinity supports the URC’s Commitment for Life programme funding specific projects by Christian Aid in four parts of the world: Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, Zimbabwe, Central America and Bangladesh.

In the Borough of Merton we support the Wimbledon Foodbank, the Faith In Action drop-in for homeless people, and the Merton Winter Night Shelter for which we are a regular venue.
