Nativity service – Sunday 13 December

The Nativity service on Sunday morning will be led by Claire Wood.  It will consist primarily of the screening of Junior Church’s Nativity video with some additional music.

The play is called, ‘God is with us – everywhere’, by Fay Rowland. It’s been written for live or virtual performances and features, as well as the traditional story, Beyoncé, mobile phones and Colin, an apprentice shepherd.

We have a cast of sixteen young people and parents, and we’ve been recording all parts separately in lockdown, stitching them all together into a single film with the help of Sam’s technological wizardry.  We’re hoping it will be great fun for all taking part and will produce a unique and wonderful film at the end.

If you’d like to attend you must pre-register by emailing churchsecretaries@trinitywimbledon.org telling us the number of people from your household (and their names) who wish to attend.  Please await our confirmation that we have registered you.

Remember….

  • You must not attend if you are displaying any Coronavirus symptoms, nor if you are required to quarantine following overseas travel, nor if you have been instructed by NHS Test & Trace to self-isolate at home. You will be asked at the door to confirm that none of these apply to you.
  • Please bring and wear a mask or face-covering as this is mandatory for all who are not in an ‘exempt’ category.

The video will also be available as ‘Worship At Home’ on Sunday via the church website (www.trinitywimbledon.org) and the usual email notification will be sent on Sunday morning.
