Our worship on Sunday 30 January

The Service on Sunday 30 January will be led by the Revd Barbara Pearson (an old friend of Trinity and retired URC minister at Tolworth).

It will also include the commissioning as a lay preacher of Katrina Clifford, one of Trinity’s Elders, by our Interim Moderator, the Revd Stephen Lewis.

Sunday marks the ‘Presentation of the Lord in the Temple’ or Candlemas, commemorating the purification of the Virgin Mary and the presentation of Christ in the temple, which occurred forty days after his birth as prescribed by Jewish law.

Bible readings:  1 Corinthians: 13 and Luke 2: 22-40.

We request that, if possible, as an additional measure at this time, you take a lateral flow test before coming to church.  Please continue to wear your mask, unless medically exempt, throughout the Service and as you walk around the building, and continue to keep a safe distance from other people.
