Christian Aid & the Palestinian Occupied Territories

Please come to what will be a very interesting meeting on Thursday 10 March at 8pm.  All welcome.

There will be three speakers:

• Kathy Childress, from Christian Aid
• Hannah Griffiths, formerly with Christian Aid recently returned from working in Palestine with Quaker Peace and Social Witness as an Ecumenical Accompanier serving on the World Council of Churches Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme for Palestine and Israel, and
• Hamed Qawasmeh, who worked alongside Hanna in Hebron in the course of his work for the UN Office for the Coordination of Human Rights and has been heading up the work of a small  charity known as Hebron International Resources Network.

This will be a  valuable opportunity to hear about Christian Aid’s work in the field at first hand, and to become better informed about the current situation in Palestine.
