Summer barbecue
After a gloriously hot and sunny Saturday, the day of our barbecue turned out a little disappointing. As Morning Service ended a few raindrops fell and our stalwart barbecuers found themselves outside on their own! Through thick smoke they cooked away, and about sixty church members and friends – young and not so young – enjoyed an excellent lunch with a superb variety of salads and puddings brought by all. Our thanks to all who organised, cooked, washed up, or did anything at all to make the event so enjoyable.
