Thy Kingdom Come – Prayer event at Trinity

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost.
What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

We have decided to hold a 24-hour prayer event at Trinity (in the Mansel Road Centre) from 11am on Saturday 27 May to 11am on Sunday 28 May (to lead into our regular morning worship at 11am).

So, how can you help?
1) Could you ‘lead’ one of the hours on a particular theme?
2) Could you provide resources for imaginative and different ways to pray?
3) Would you be willing to commit to being there to pray at some point over the 24 hours?

If you’re interested in helping in any way or have any ideas then please get in touch with Katrina Clifford as soon as possible.  Katrina would be very keen to hear from those willing to volunteer for overnight (any part of 10pm to 11am is possible); we would like there to be two people at all times, especially for the night shifts.
